Looking at getting a new car. Just wanted to know certain questions you should ask. Not sure yet whether its going to be financed or leased. Any help would be great.

figure out which option is most realistic for your needs - if you do a lot of driving (like me), leasing is definitely out of the question. they only allot 10-12,000 miles per year, which is a joke if you live in a big city like l.a. and commute. if you decide to buy, think about how long you want to have the car. if you think you might want to get rid of it in a few years then ask how much resale value the car will have in a few years. hondas have the highest resale value, ford%26#039;s are pretty low. then ask what kind of perks they can throw in if you%26#039;re buying new!

Um, I just got one this weekend, but my parents were there asking all the questions. lol. I%26#039;m trying to remember what they asked.

If it is pre owned, ask when was the last safety inspection and if there is any warranty left on it. Of course ask if it has any problems previously, what is the fuel efficiency, how much mileage is on it.

let%26#039;s see...how many cylinders is it...I have 4 and I prefer that over 6 because I don%26#039;t need the extra power personally and would much rather conserve my gas. Make sure you get informed about recalls on the car...it%26#039;s always good to do some research on the internet for that because it will likely be accurate information.

the other things you need to know are what are the best interest rates (lease or loan) that you can qualify for, either check with your own bank, credit union, or check online

just do as much research as you can, let the dealer know you are serious and have done your homework and then just focus on what you really need, not what they want to sell you

I think you should do your own research on the cars you think you%26#039;d like to buy\lease. Have as much information as possible. What the car goes for price wise, how is it on gas, how long is the warranty, and don%26#039;t be to eager to buy go calm cool and collected if you show to much interest they will try to take advantage of that. And don%26#039;t be afraid to make a deal and bring the price down. Somewhere on the new car sticker there%26#039;s a code telling them what the lowest price of the car can be try to figure out that code. Well that%26#039;s all the info I have. Good Luck!!!

Ask whats important to you. Dependability, gas mileage, is it mp3 compatible, are there beverage coolers in the glove box!
