Down payment on a car?

i am planning to buy a car around 20,000$ (out the door) and i think im gonna put 10,000$ as a down payment.(which is 50% of the car) my credit score is 678. i have a job (3 month in) but i only work part time. do you think i can get financed?

678 score is good, not excellent as the best rates are usually available to those with 700-720 or better, but with 50% down you should have no problem getting financed and with an excellent rate as well. Good Luck.

With that much down, I would say definately. Though it depends on how much you make at your part time job, your other debt, and your living expenses.

You can get a loan or finance it through the dealer. you have a very good credit and your down payment it more than the minimum. you will have no problem getting a car.
