I WANT A REPLICA CAR!!?

I want to either replicate a Lamborghini Diablo or buy one already put together. I don%26#039;t want to spend more than maybe 30k-35k on this car. I don%26#039;t want anything smaller than a v-8 in the car either. where would i go to either buy them already assembled or just buy the parts I need as I go? I am looking for somewhere that would finance the total cost if at all possible.

I WANT A REPLICA CAR!!?

There used to be a magazine, Kit Car, that would have some ads. I don%26#039;t know if it%26#039;s still around. Also, type %26quot;kit car%26quot; into Google or whatever and it will give you a few websites.

I WANT A REPLICA CAR!!?

Well if you are expecting someone to finance you as you build it, I%26#039;m afraid you%26#039;re out of luck. replica/kit cars aren%26#039;t something that you could get financing for to build from the ground up... In fact you may find it difficult to find financing for one that is already built and ready to drive. Banks like to finance things that are worth at least what they have at risk and a replica/kit car is very iffy.

Accept that most people that build one will put in much more money and time than they can expect to recover if they expect to sell it the next day and you%26#039;ll quickly understand that building one isn%26#039;t because your trying to make money and because they cost so much to build its no because your saving money on a new car. These are basically hobby cars that people build or own because of enjoyment.

That said you will be better off finding one that is already built. However you will have a difficult time finding a V8 version for 30-35k... you will likely only find the Fiero type with 2.8liter 6s.

You should also realize up front that a replica isn%26#039;t going to fool anyone including youself... at least not a Diablo replica. You will never get the same sound out of a 6 or 8 that you get from a 12. Your engine viewed through the read deck lid will always be a dead giveaway that its fake. If you want to look at cars where they can actually make faithful replicas you should look at Ford GT40s or Cobras. There you can find v8 powered replicas that are very faithful to the originals.

Okay... if you%26#039;re dead set on the Diablo, then put your money into a fairly liquid investment like 30 day CDs. Then your best bet will be simply to watch places like E-bay on a regular basis and look at KitCar magazine each month to see if any are for sale. You%26#039;ve got a very specific car in mind and it will take some searching before it comes up on the market. As I said, the V8 is going to make it difficult to find, you can find the 6s all over the place for 30 or less... again the best place to look for those is also Kitcar magazine and ebay.
