We were told we were approved for a car loan, now three days later told we are not approved?

We heard this from the car dealer but not from the broker. We are devasted as we were promised a really ice car. The Broker hasn%26#039;t told us wether we have or havent. Are we being conned. We were told the finance company would not pay the price the dealer wants, we were knocked back on two cars earlier than the model we were about to buy, but said they would approve the loan for the later model car. Now they say we cant have the vehicle. this is all from the dealer we have already given our tradeins to them. Are my partner I being conned something is not right. Help

I have read similar questions like this on Yahoo lately. It sounds like the latest game scum car dealers are pulling. They get people with not so great credit - tell you that you are approved, get you to hand the keys to your car over as a trade, then days later when you go to pick up the new car they tell you that you werent approved. That leaves you with no car.

Tell them to give you your damn car back that you were trading in and take your business elsewhere. If they refuse contact an attorney.

Car dealers are SCUM. I rank them with pedophiles and terrorists.

Obviously they%26#039;re not the calibur of people that you want to do business wiyh. Just walk away and don%26#039;t even think about them any more.

Are you really able to afford a really %26quot;ice%26quot; car? Instead of going through a broker or dealership get a loan from the bank that you do business with then take that cash and use it to buy the car outright. The bank will know your credit and banking history and will tell you honestly what you can afford. Then you will have more bargaining power with the dealership because you will be essentially paying cash and won%26#039;t have to go through the hassle of financing. You will just have loan payments back to the bank who will likely give you a better rate.
