I%26#039;m trying to set it up to present my parents with the car I am looking at right now. The tag price is $5,995 and this is what it said at the bottom. Being not very bright on business, I assume all we would have to pay the DEALER (not insurance or outside things), will be $5995 plus tax...that%26#039;s all we owe the dealer, correct? Nothing else? Basically they are telling you that the price does not include tax for the vehicle, the finance charges say if you were taking out a loan for the car. The liablilty insurance and all that is just insurance for the car which you obviously need, and delivery fees are if the car is not at the lot and someone has to go and pick it up.

Correct.........all the dealer gets is the price of the vehicle plus tax.

**Unless you have them take care of the registration, license, delivery, etc. for you, that would be added to the cost.

No, that%26#039;s not correct. Ask the dealer what the price would be to them to drive it off the lot. You could have taxes and delivery fees to pay on top of the asking price. Remember, once you pay the dealer and get the paper work then there will be more charges to your insurance company and to transfer paperwork, etc.

You are going to have to pay the liscense fee, title fee, and state and local taxes. You can pay it at the dealer, or you can pay it at the state liscense tag office. Or, your parents can handle that part.....it%26#039;s up to you. I wouldn%26#039;t mess with the credit insurance or the extended warranty. The dealer may also have a %26quot;doc%26quot; fee which you MAY can get out of if you ***** about it enough.
