Were you really excited when you bought your first car?

I couldnt get really excited because i just knew something was going to go wrong. The finance guy even told me to get excited but i couldnt let myself enjoy my first purchase. It was really stressful. Getting a great insurance quote was a ***** because I was %26quot;a new driver%26quot;. I still can%26#039;t get used to the fact that I have a car now. I%26#039;ve only been driving for 4 months. Anyone else feel/felt the same way?

Were you really excited when you bought your first car?

You%26#039;ve been in the car for four months. Look at it this way, everytime you are walking to your car, just say to yourself, WOW, that%26#039;s MY new car, it%26#039;s so awesome. The initial shock of the payment should have gone away by now, but that%26#039;s ok, just look at every day as one more time to enjoy your new toy.

Oh oh oh, I felt I was signing my life away since the payment was high for me. I ended up not buying the car, and I%26#039;m now looking for one with a lower price. But yeah, it wasn%26#039;t very enjoyable. I think it%26#039;s more exciting when somebody suprises you with the car you want :D.

The first car I had belonged to my parents.

The second was an 82 subaru gl. My father picked it out, and I said okay.

The third was an 86 olds cutlas calais. My father picked it out, and I said okay. He set me up for a car loan at a bank, and I made the payments.

The fourth was a 95 chevy pickup that I picked out with absolutely no help. It was brand new. I loved it...no reservations at all, or buyers remorse.

I still have it today, and am getting rid of it this month. I just bought a used Chrysler Pacifica. I went through a lot of angst in deciding on it, but I feel confident I did the right thing.

I don%26#039;t feel REALLY excited, but I look forward to having a completely loaded, comfy car that my whole family will all fit into. Yes, I should feel excited, but I never have. I just go with the flow.

It%26#039;ll hit you once you have had the car for a while and you can drive it whenever you want. It is all YOURS.
