Okay, I Now Have $3,000! What type of car can I buy? What Are Some Of The Cheapest and Most Reliable

Okay, now I%26#039;m desperate. My roommate decided to sign our apratment lease early so we are moving into our apartment May 7! Currently I%26#039;m increading a loan held at my credit union -- they are financing it. However, I can only borrow 2000 to 2,500 -- if I borrow more my payments will be 164.00 and up. If I stay within my range, I will pay 135.00 a month.

I only make about $600.00 a month (combining both my jobs, so that%26#039;s why I%26#039;m trying to keep my payments low or else I%26#039;m in trouble.

What Are the cheapest and most reliable cars I can purchase for about 3,500. Please help me ...

I believe with our current situation, you shouldn%26#039;t think getting a car, service the instalment is not easy and you have set a side on the patrol and maintenance of the car. this will cost you more then you salary, you may end up will financial problem.

Buy a used Saturn. I had a 1991 Saturn that I bought that had been wrecked and redone and it is still going till this day and has over 350,000 thousand miles on it. Of course I took good care of and the maintenance on it is rather cheap.

Buy a used Nissan Sentra. Low maintenance costs and good reliability. You can get a 1998 GXE with good options and under 100K miles for about $3500.

I have always had good luck with oldsmobile or buick from early 90%26#039;s with the 3.8 liter V-6 engine. Very good engines last a long time and being older model they are not very expensive.

A $3500 car isn%26#039;t really any better than a $1000-$1500 car. You%26#039;re talking beater either way. Better to buy a cheaper car that needs a few things, than a more expensive car that will inevitably need work as well...
