I%26#039;m 19 years old and ready to buy myself a used car. I want to buy something in the $4000 - $5000 dollar range, put $1000 down and then pay off the remaining few thousand in big monthly intervals. Hopefully, I can get it paid off as soon as possible. My problem is, I need to borrow the few thousand dollars to pay off and I don%26#039;t have any credit. Does anybody have any suggestions/ideas/or advice they could give me to get the finance I need? Please help!
I really need to buy a used car, but have no credit... suggestions?
Are you serious? Really get the picture here. Car companies are desperate to get people to buy a car. The only thing that matters at this point is do you have income to make payments. Hell why buy a used car when you can buy a new car. Haven%26#039;t you seen the ads that say %26quot; No Credit, Bad Credit, No Problem.%26quot; ??? Buy a new car and be honest with the sales person about your credit. Make sure you can make the payments easily every month and don%26#039;t leave yourself dry without any money to party with.
PS: Factor in the Insurance payments.
Good Luck to You! and don%26#039;t crash your car, don%26#039;t tailgate, don%26#039;t speed, follow all the rules of the road even if they are really BORING!!!!!

In most cases if you have no credit, poor or bad credit it%26#039;s easier to buy a new car. That%26#039;s what I did. I went in for a used car but they sold me a new car because they couldn%26#039;t get a used car approved. But your young and just starting out so it%26#039;s different. You%26#039;ll probably have to get a cosigner.

Go relatives or parents that can co-sign? use them and save on interest. also. Get something like a good honda or toyota. it will last much longer than most others.

With no credit, $1000 down, a job with verifiable income, and verifiable residency, you should have very little problem getting a car loan.
The first-time buyers programs on new cars sometimes require either a recent college degree or being close to get a degree. Honda and Toyota both do this.
Ford, Chevy, and Kia just need something on your credit, whether it%26#039;s student loans, a credit card, or something that shows that you%26#039;ve bought something in your life.
Mitsubishi is the most lenient -- they will pretty much loan money to anyone who wants one of their new cars.
I don%26#039;t know about Chrysler (Dodge), Hyundai, or Nissan.
If you have a bank or credit union, they are the best place to start. Talk to a loan officer, apply for the loan, then let them tell you the %26quot;stips.%26quot; These stipulations will be something like this: 2001 or newer, under 75K miles, under $X, and with the total loan amount at X% of NADA Trade Value.
Feel free to email me if you have any questions.
