Has anyone bought a new car had to return it within 10 days?

I bought a new car and received a letter stting I had to return the vehical because they said they would not finance me.I also read part of the contract stting they had 10 to do this. well i got the letter 11 days later.

has anyone had this happen before?

Yes. Well not me. It happen to my Brother in Law. Ironically, we were on the Alaskan Highway when they told us. They got the car back... LMAO.... with about 10,000 miles on it. And get this.... it was like getting a FREE car rental. Best deal ever. Congratulations man.

People post this question on here all the time. You%26#039;d think a new car dealer would be a little bit more competent than that, wouldn%26#039;t you? Apparently it happens all the time, if YA is any indication.

This would be fun if you didn%26#039;t make a downpayment, seems like. If you did, they%26#039;ll pretend like it%26#039;s theirs to keep.

One thing%26#039;s for sure. If that car is not paid for, you will not be able to keep it. It doesn%26#039;t matter if they only have 10 days or 11 days or 10 seconds. They hold the title still, and it%26#039;s their car, not yours.

If the lender rejected the loan, then you have to return the vehicle. If no financing was secured, then you can not title the vehicle nor register it because it still legally belongs to the dealership. I hope this helps. Good luck.
