I currently drive a 1997 Civic that I bought new in May 1997. I don%26#039;t drive much so it%26#039;s only got 130,000 miles on it (but has some body damage). Since I don%26#039;t drive much, I want to buy used this time around. I need a bigger car than a Civic. So i am looking at other models.

I%26#039;ve found a five speed 2002 Altima with 25,000 miles on it at a dealer. What should I expect to pay for it?

Do I finance with my bank or with the dealership? I have good credit so I should be approved for any loan.

Also, should I only look at cars that are %26quot;certified pre-owned%26quot;? What does that even mean?
