Which car do you think I should get??

I have a 2002 Ford Taurus, and I%26#039;m currently financing it. I%26#039;ve only had it since July of 2005, so my estimated negative equity would be around 3 or 4 thousand. I wanted to keep a monthly payment of 300/month. But since I%26#039;m too early into my financing, I%26#039;d have to wait for my payments to go down.

Anyway, I%26#039;m obsessing over a few cars that I want to have. These are my choices

* New Beetle

* New model Mustang

* Dodge Charger

* Chevy Cobalt

* New Eclipse

Please give me advice and let me know which one is best. Not only by appearance, but by safety, perfomance and endurance. Thanks.

....so far I%26#039;m really deciding between the Cobalt and the Charger.

With all that negative equity, you will need some pretty hefty rebates to get financing. You can forget $300 a month, is no way it can happen with a new car. Probably more like at least $400 for the Cobalt, and considerably more for the other cars. The dealer simply will not give you enough for your car (they will probably auction it off). The cheapest Cobalt is about $13000, and all of the other cars can hit 20-25k+ pretty fast. With all of your negative equity, you will have to get a vehicle with big rebates to finance it all. That pretty much means a 2006 model year truck.

I would also look into gap insurance. If you wreck the car, the insurance company will only pay the blue book value on the car.

Beetle - poor crash tests - really poor reliability - cute - different looking - few rebates - could be expensive to insure

Mustang - wheezy v6 - great v8 - average reliability - good looks - few rebates/incentives unless old 2006 stock - ok resale - expensive to insure

Charger - goofy looking in some colors - tomb like driving experience, hard to see out of - chrysler product reliability often poor - resale probably not great on v6 models

Cobalt - improvement over Cavalier - SS model nice, other trim levels merely average in segment - steep depreciation - average at best reliability

Eclipse - 4 cylinder underpowered for surprisingly heavy car - expensive to insure - hard to see out of - mitsubishi in a lot of trouble financially, if they pull out of US market, prices will plummet

Which car do you think I should get??

i would choose the cobalt i love it

Which car do you think I should get??

You should get the mustang tottaly!! :)

Which car do you think I should get??

i dont like those cars. maybe dodge..

Which car do you think I should get??

Go for the New Beetle, if you can find a good one used you can fit it into those 300/mo payments. Or, the Yaris from Toyota.

It%26#039;s nice, I like!

Which car do you think I should get??

Well, personally I have always dreamed of owning a Mustang. They are soooo sweet!!! From the appearance to safety to performance and endurance.... an alll around awesome car!!! Better than sex.... almost..

Which car do you think I should get??

the cobalt: ask for safety ratings, fuel efficiency and appearance

Which car do you think I should get??

I would that you should get an eclipse because it looks really good and has good handling. I would not want to get any American made car because the engines do last as long as Japanese cars. and the beetle is to small and kind of ugly.

Which car do you think I should get??

Dodge Charger.. with the V8 Hemi, sun roof and cd/mp3 player...

Black... and the Charger.. not the Magnum.

Which car do you think I should get??

not really any of those but a black honda cicic is hot comes with tones of rad perks . its cheap afordable and gas does not take up you whole pay check best sevice comes from hardin honda on the five to the fifty seven of ball rd in anehiem good luck finding the car of your dreams

Which car do you think I should get??

You have 4000 negative equity and you want to keep your payment at 300 dollars a month.

THAT means, assuming you get a loan at 5.9%APR and for 5 years, you can only afford 15000 dollars. Taking tax and other charges off this, the purchase price needs to be about 13000 dollars. This figure will decide for you, which cars you can afford.

Don%26#039;t expect to get 0% financing if you don%26#039;t have a near perfect credit.... that%26#039;s why I used more realistic 5.9% figure.

Which car do you think I should get??

Chevy got the best motor and if you need to ever buy parts they are normally cheap and easy to find.

Which car do you think I should get??

Mustang was rated %26quot;Most satisfying car of the year%26quot; ...all the rest of them were rated pretty low...Mustangs are also pretty good on gas and have alot of options!
