ok, so going to buy soon means in two years when you are of age to legally sign a contract. to figure it out you have to take the selling price, add the sales tax and license fees (approx 10%), minus the down payment. that is your total amount financed.

Example:

selling price of 15000 plus fees (depending on your state)

16500 out the door

minus 3500 down = 13000 total amount financed.

a car loan of that type will typically be 5 years.
