Trying to buy a car with unestablished credit history?

I make $20.64 an hour and work 40 hours a week. I am just at this job for about two months as I just finished college. My credit score is about 620 and I%26#039;ve had a credit card with Chase and a furniture account both for about 9 months. I tried to go buy a car Saturday and they told me I don%26#039;t have enough established credit history, and to come back Monday and the finance manager was going to call the bank (it was called, Drive, I think) and talk to someone directly and see if the person could get me approved over trying to just submit it into the computer and get a denial. I can%26#039;t get a co-signer so that is out of the question. I just want to know if it sounds like I might be able to get the car, do you think the bank person might approve the loan. The car is a Mazda 3, it%26#039;s nothing expensive just something to get to work and back. Any other ideas as to how to get a car. We don%26#039;t have any buy here pay here places around here so thats out of the question. I%26#039;m just not sure what to do.

Is it a new or used car. If used they are less strict about credit history... However if you don%26#039;t have any outstanding bills on your credit report just do what they said. They will probably check with your work to make sure you aren%26#039;t in danger of losing your job, then approve the loan.

The interest rate will be higher, because there is not a credit HISTORY they can use....anyone can get a loan though...I suggest looking into a credit union (better rates / loans / options) ,leasing a car....establishing a history, and then in a year save up enough to have for a down payment on the car you really want. That will help off set the amount needed in a loan.

It is not just having a new job just 2 months old, but also about length of credit history. Ability and willingness to repay is a matter of time. With a 620 score, are you sure you have no late payments? I not, you could take a landlord reference with you when you go back to see them. It%26#039;s called %26quot;non traditional%26quot; credit. Also keep in mind that they will also look at debt to income ratios. Take you total monthly debt including rent and divide it into your your gross monthly income. Typically That should not exceed 40-45% at the most. Hope this helps and good luck!

There are not many people in this world who do not get excited by the prospect of buying a new car. This excitement can sometimes be deflated by the whole finance thing. If your credit history is not so good%26lt;!--or basically non existent, then you may need to find a bad credit car loan. You may find some car loan here,

The fact is buying a car for most people is one of the biggest purchases they will ever make. Owning a car is kind of like a right of passage for a lot of people, and definitely a sign of %26quot;coming of age%26quot; for most teenagers--%26gt; Let face it, we all need a reliable car to get around, and most of us would rather drive a nice new or late car than an old bomb.
