I have a family member that went to jail in September of 2006. They have a 2002 SUV, 60k miles. The car has sat at our house since then and it is now May 2007. I have talked to the finance company and they want a payment. I told them the situation about the family memeber and they said they would come get it. That was 5 months ago. What do I do? It has been reported as a charge off on his credit. I would like to buy it, but when I called the finance company, they said the account was closed and they couldn%26#039;t give me any information on the status. How can I buy it or file for a title or what? Please help!!

Go to your State Representatives office they should have someone attach with the DMV and there you should be able to find your answer

They will pick it up in time. If you want it gone keep bothering them. If it is a charge off they should be able to give you a price for it.
